Dave’s Shopping List for a Typical Long Weekend Sailing

6 people
3 breakfasts 
3 lunches
2 evening meal deserts (home made main courses, pre-cooked and frozen)
3 morning snacks
3 afternoon snacks

Breakfast – 18 servings

48 rashers bacon, 30 sausages, 6 litres OJ, 2 doz eggs, corn flakes, Alpen, 3 dozen bread rolls, 6x1 litres milk (no bigger containers), big tub marg, marmalade/jam.

Lunch – 18 servings

Ham, cheeses, pickle, tuna, crisps, apples, pears, bananas. 2 Bags prepared green salad, 12 tomatoes, 6 thick cut loaves. 30 cup a soup (does snacks too), mustard, mayo. Gherkins, squash.

Dinner – 2 deserts x 8 servings each

8 chocolate brownies, long life cream. 2 apple pies, 2 cartons custard

Morning & afternoon snacks – 48 servings

Chocolate biscuits, crisps, 3 cakes (Yorkshire tea cake a must!)

Drinks & Nibbles

18 assorted beers, coke, 3 large tonics, 2 lemons, large jar black & green olives, 4 large crisps, Doritos, Pringles,  6 assorted dips. Box white & red wine.

General

80 teabags, small jar coffee, matches, wipes, kitchen roll, w/u liquid, salt & pepper, sugar, foil, toilet rolls, red & brown sauce. Bottled water for tea/coffee (boat's water can taste foul)
