This debacle was much to the amusement of the rest of the crew later that morning and none of them believed my explanation of “…..it must have been the 100 year wave!” A quick sail back to Armadillo….. I mean Armadale (I know it wasn’t funny the first time either!) and the boats were handed back to Isle of Skye Yachts intact….. they even managed to find the missing oar! We said our goodbyes and all agreed that it had been a fantastic few days, and then all headed home. Our car stopped at a funny wee tearoom at the suggestion of Andrew, however didn’t manage to meet them there – something about a detour to Ullapool or the likes! There was also a story about hailstones over the Lecht and cars being upside down, but personally I think it was the Hebridean Gold!! Once home the weekend all too soon became a memory, but I can safely say that the Rum Music Festival was one of the best weekends I’ve had in a long time, and I know I’m not alone. I am very much looking forward to taking part in a similar event perhaps next year – and would like to thank all those, in particular Dave (!!!!!!!) for organising such a fabulous weekend. P.S. Dave I think the pink thong belongs to me but it’s okay, you can keep it coz I’ve got plenty more…! Yours in Sailing,

Fraser
