Page: Previous 1 2 3 4 5 6 Next Day 4 - We were flying out that afternoon so despite sore heads we set off early packing and cleaning underway. As usual the previous barmy days where we were praying for wind were now overtaken by a brisk Southerly breeze. All designed to test the skipper’s handling skills under adverse conditions. It all worked fine and not many were killed! So concluded a disappointing 10 cruise where 7 days were without a boat. Hopefully it was a useful taster for Jasper and Mary for when they have their own boat in Croatia and an encouragement to Vic and Patrick to come back again.
