Page: Previous 1 2 3 4 5 6 Next Day 1 - The launch was completed by 16.00 hrs and we had to dash in the direction of Milna on the Island of Brac to fuel up before the fuel station closed there at 20.00 hrs. The evening was a quiet night at anchor in Bobbiveche a small inlet close by Milna. Day 2 - With a lot of distance to do the following day it was an early night and a still earlier start ! Weather was perfect for motoring !! There was no target destination , experience has shown that cruising plans must be flexible but time constraints indicated that we had to be on a direct line to Dubrovnik. A lunchtime swim stop was squeezed in on the SW corner of the Island of Scedro. A place to avoid normally as it has a considerable rat problem but in daylight and anchored off shore we were not bothered. Lunchtime was enlivened by a aerobics display on board a local cruise boat. Unusually the wind did not pick up in the afternoon so it was again a session with the engine motoring into Loviste a large anchorage at the extreme end of the Peljesac peninsular. Another perfect and quiet night at anchor with in the morning the slight stirrings of wind.
