Why should you register your business with Yotlinx

If you wish to offer your services to a Yotlinx event or advertise by posting your own events, and we hope you do, then you need to register with Yotlinx as a commercial organisation.

Yotlinx is an online sailing club set up to promote sailing, primarily yacht sailing, and often through yacht charter. Yotlinx members will post events thatsometimes request assistance including a charter yacht(s), training, instruction and/or professional crew.

So you can

1. offer professional services to a Yotlinx Event. When you do this, it is imperative that the EventOrganiser understands that the offer comes from a commercial organisation (includes professional crew) and is able to find out more aboutyour organisation through the details you provide through registration.
2. create your own event within Yotlinx. For example, you may want to advertise a training event or perhaps you are a charter company and want to advertise a yacht for a weekend/week either bareboat or with skipper etc.

How do I register my business

Register yourbusiness with Yotlinx in 3 easy steps.

Step 1 - Register yourself as an Individual Member if you havn't already but read steps 2 & 3 first.

Only one person can register and subsequently update a businessesdetails, so it is important that you are an agreed representative of yourbusiness for this purpose.

Step 2 - Register your organisation's details.

Once your account is activated, and you are logged on, goto 'Register an Organisation' from the Main Menu. Complete and submit the registration form

Step 3 - Update your individual profile with your 'organisation affiliation'.

Goto 'Edit Profile' from the Members menu (LH Blue Bar). In your profile form, update your 'organisation affiliation' by selecting your organisation from the drop-down menu (it's about half way down the form). This last step is vital, itlinks you with your business and therefore links any subsequent offers you make to events with your business.

That's it, you are done!

How do I offer my services to an event or create my own event on behalf of my business

In the process of registering your business, you have become an individual member which enables you to register your interest in an event (to offer your services) or to Create an Event (to advertise your services).
