Why?

1. Yotlinx is a club with the express intention of meeting other kindred spirits to get together and sail. So getting connected is obviously an important part of joining.

How are contact details used?

1. This is an important question, especially these days we all want to be sure our contact details are not made available to just anyone.

2. Rest assured that Yotlinx takes your data privacy very seriously.

3. Revealing you details to others requires an action from yourself.

4. When you register your interest in an event, the event organiser will have access to your contact and next of kin data (NOK). This is clearly necessary if your event organiser is going to contact you and in some cases will be required to pass on your NOK information to charterers.

5. Other members (not members of the public) can e-mail you via the site mailer. You will only reveal your e-mail address to them if you reply.

6. When you e-mail others via the sitemailer you reveal you e-mail address to them.

How can members contact each other?

1. Logon

2. From the Member Home Page click on �View all Members�

3. Click on the member you want to communicate with

4. Click on �Contact This Member�

5. Fill in the details and click �Send Message�

Advice

1. Remember, it takes an action from you to reveal your contact details to others

2. The general public do not have access to your personal information.
